Hi again from Black Motor Co. in beautiful South Central Nebraska. Here's hoping that everyone had a enjoyable Christmas season. The New Year of 2011 will be here in a few days and also maybe some snow is on the way.
We just want to remind everyone to stay ready for winter driving. Worn wiper blades can be very dangerous in cold moist driving conditions. Let us check your blades to ensure your safety. Don't be stranded with a dead battery on a cold winter day. Stop by at Black Motor Co. and let us check the power of your battery to make sure you have the cranking power you need. Your tires should have the tread depth needed for save driving on winter roads. Let us check your tires to make sure they are properly inflated and ready for snow and ice conditions. Make sure to check the antifreeze to ensure it is strong enough for below freezing weather.
This is my favorite time of year with bowl games every night and NFL playoffs right around the corner. Let's say go Huskers as they beat down the huskies again. Congrats to the Husker women volleyball team on a great season( tough to win on someone else's home court). Continue to support your local high school and have a Happy New Year. Go Huskers and K C Chiefs.

Am I at the RIGHT PLACE FOR SERVICE?
How do you know if you at the right place to get your vehicle serviced? Most service centers look the same-am I at the one to get the job done right. Today, lets talk about service centers. What makes a service center in today's market? It is not like the old days of the greasy mechanic working on the " family truckster". In the field of vehicle service today, it is a specialist technician needed to service the high tech vehicles on the road today. At Black Motor Company, our technicians have what is needed to service your vehicle the right way. Focus, the right tools, and authentic parts to do the job correct the first time. I enjoy wacthing our service techs here at Black Motor Co. They have undivided concentration when working on your vehicle. You can come up next to them and their focus is on the vehicle that often they do not even realize that you are standing there. You demand that your doctor or dentist have focus and concentration so why accept anything else from your vehicle's service technician. That is what is needed to get it done right the first time. Donn, our service manager along with Harvey and Todd treat the service area as their office. They are professionals who concentrate on doing the job right.
Looking in the technicians hands you might see tools that look foreign to you or I, but our service professionals know exactly what the tool is for and how to use it properly to complete the service task. At Black Motor Co. we have the right tools and the technicians trained precisely how to use them. It's not about the half inch and nine sixteenth wrench to fix a vehicle today. Specialty tools and the training to use those tools are required to service any vehicle. Black Motor Co. will give you confidence that both are used to get it fixed correctly for your peace of mind.
Parts? What parts are being used? That is a question you should ask your parts manager. Dave, the parts manager here at Black Motor Co. uses no "run of the mill parts". We use authentic Mopar parts and accessories which meet rigid specifications so your vehicle gets exactly what it needs to stay up and running. Don't settle for "second best parts". Know that we only use top of the line parts to complete the fix on your vehicle.
So as you see, the service center may look the same on the outside of the building, but it is what is on the inside that counts. Have confidence that Black Motor Co. has specialists equipped with the right tools and parts to service your vehicle.
We hope that your Christmas season is going well to this point. See us if you need a last second gift idea. We have many items to make your shopping list complete.

The BIG FINISH of 2010
We want to welcome everyone back to the BlackMotorWay Blog. We here at Black Motor Co. hope that your holiday season is going smoothly without to much stress. Just wanted to let you know about The BIG FINISH of 2010. This is the Chysler-Dodge-Jeep incentive program to wrap up 2010. There are rebates, incentives, financing, and packages for all the new inventory lineup. Contact Jody or Brad for more information on the The BIG FINISH of 2010.
The 2011's are starting to show up. Let us show you the new looks and designs for 2011. A new ride for 2011 would be just what Santa ordered.
Black Motor Co. is a great place to shop for that unique Christmas gift. We have sweatshirts, t-shirts, and caps. Don't forget about a remote start for the cold winter mornings. Garmins and Ipod integration make great gifts for the traveller. Stocking stuffers like oil change coupons. Stop by and let us get that hard to buy for on your list a gift to remember.
I guess I have to eat some CROW after THE BIG RED could not seal the deal again in the Big 12 Championship game. NU still had a good season but it was so close to being a great season. All I can say is a fond farewell to the Big 12 and lookout Big Ten because a new deputy is coming to town looking to become sheriff real soon. We are still rooting for the NU volleyball against Washington and the football team gets another chance for a beatdown against Washington in the Holiday Bowl. GOOD LUCK BIG RED. Also, don't forget to support the high school athletes in the area. They put in alot of time and sweat so they deserve our community support. GO TEAM.
I just could not help but add a few SANTA JOKES: What is red and green and flies? An air sick Santa.
What did Santa say to Mrs. Claus when he looked out the window? Looks like " rain" "Dear"! And one more for the funny bone- A man buys his wife a beautiful diamond ring for CHRISTMAS. The man's friend states " I thought you were going to buy her one of those sporty four-wheel drive vehicles? " I was" he replied, " but where was I going to find a fake Jeep"!
Wishing you good fortune

3 Tips for you vehicle Winter Driving
Welcome back to our blog. We have had a very nice fall for weather but winter is coming and you know that the nice weather is going to change for the worse. We want to let you know about the 3 items to check on your vehicle to make sure that you are not stranded in the cold or winter night. The first item that gets neglected are your wiper blades. Worn wiper blades can decrease your visibility when you need it the most-in snow and slush. Our service techs recommend that your wiper blades be replaced once a year. Drop by and let us check your blades for safe winter driving. The second item on your vehcile that needs regular attention are your tires. Fixing a flat is no fun - especially on a cold winter night. Avoid this headache by having our service specialists rotate and check inflation of your tires for extended life of your tires and improve your snow and mud performance. The third thing to have checked is your battery. Your battery may start fine in the warm weather but as the cold weather hits, your battery may be on the brink of death. Let our service techs check your battery to make sure you will not be stranded on that coldest of winter days. We at Black Motor Co. believe in preventive maintenance for your vehicle before a problem arises. Winter is not a time for vehicle problems. Let our trained service specialists check your vehicle for your "winter driving peace of mind".
This is game day for Big Red in Dallas. We hope that OU can get back home after Nebraska takes them out behind the woodshed. GO BIG RED. Congrats to the Nebraska volleyball team in advancing to the regional after a dominating performance. Go for it ladies and let's see you in KC.
Talk to you soon
